We had a great day at the Engineering, Science and Technology Fair held at City University, London on Wednesday 15th October 08.

Our stand was swamped with students wanting to find out more about gradcracker and the employers advertising on it. The 150 gradcracker t-shirts we had taken to give away were snapped up well before the event was due to end and over 120 engineering students registered on the day. Our newly designed posters featuring the 78 employers currently advertising on gradcracker proved very popular too.

We were delighted that many of the engineering employers also exhibiting at the fair were keen to find out more about advertising on gradcracker and extremely complimentary about the way we go about marketing the site to engineering students.

Somehow during the very busy afternoon we also managed to find time to catch up with some of our current advertisers who were exhibiting at the event including Network Rail, Metronet, Mott MacDonald, Jaguar and Land Rover, Peter Brett Associates and Tube Lines. We contact our advertisers regularly to get feedback on their impression of gradcracker’s performance and, as ever, the feedback was extremely positive!

The event was extremely well organised and the university representatives really looked after us. The buffet lunch was impressive and we were replenished with refreshments throughout the day.
